Teen Moms

Today's topic is about Teen Moms. It seems like the newer generation these days everyone is having kids. What's the deal?
I myself was a 10th grade teen mom. I struggled a lot with not having a job, still in school, parents, an my baby's daddy was in college with no job. We were still kids an I didn't know what to do. I had to repeat some of my tenth grade classes an also do eleventh grade. I really didn't think I was gonna graduate. But I knew that if I didn't try I wouldn't get nowhere. At 11 months my sons dad joined the Army to get us on our feet. It was hard to know I was having to do this on my own without him. Once I was a senior, I moved out an got a job, but still needed help so I had to get on assistance from the government. That next year and a half my baby's dad came home an we got married. We got off of the government help an moved away. We still are learning about parenting.
Being a teen mom is hard work. It takes patience,  mind, and power. Going to school and having a baby is very difficult. Not many graduate nor have good jobs, an many get on government assistance. Yes, you do miss out on a lot of stuff like being with your friends all the time, doing stuff you want to do, and buying what you want to buy. Everything now is all about your baby,  priorities are first, wants are last.
If you need help take it! You don't want to get stressed out to much, its not good on you or your baby. Baby can feel your emotions when your sad, scared, angry, or happy. Always show love to your baby an show them you care. If you feel like you cant handle taking care of your child don't neglect them just see if someone can help you for a little while till you feel like your capable of doing it on your own again.
Lots of people feel like they can go out to party an do their own thing an leave their child with someone else. My opinion you shouldn't do it so much where it seem  like you don't have a responsibility. Every weekend is way to much, maybe once a month just to have a girls night out. You need to learn your child and be with them; Let them know who you are, because once they get older an know the routine your child may grow up an do the same. Do the things that your mom an dad didn't with you. Make their life be better.
If you are not a teen mom wait till your older. Have fun while you can, you only live once. So be the kid you are and don't have kids while being one. You see what these teen moms go through everyday, its a struggle. Wait until your married an stabled to be a parent. It would be so much easier on you, because you will know more about everything an have experience with children. All I'm saying is wait to grow up, you don't want to miss out on the best teen years of your life!
